Custom web apps

Sign-up systems, member platforms, admin dashboards, booking and client portals, built around how your business already works. For when a website alone is not enough.

Short answer

A custom web app is software your customers or your team use in the browser: an online sign-up with an address check, a member area with a video library, an admin dashboard, a booking flow or a client portal. I build them on Next.js and Supabase. JMT Sanitation's sign-up system and Fixed Ops Roundtable's video and member platform are both custom builds. Apps are quoted per project.

What I build

Software that fits the work.

Every one of these is running for a real business today.

  • Sign-up systems

An address check that answers right away, with the sign-up form on the result. Built for JMT Sanitation.

  • Member platforms

Member accounts, a video library synced with YouTube every hour, events and a newsroom. Built for Fixed Ops Roundtable.

  • Admin dashboards

One place for your team to manage sign-ups, requests, content and support, with roles for who can do what.

  • Client portals

Proposals, e-signatures, payments, timelines and file sharing in one link. My own clients use one for every project.

  • Online booking

Calendar booking with email confirmations, connected to your own availability.

  • Integrations

Payments through Stripe, email through Resend, maps through Mapbox, YouTube, and the CRM or software your team already uses.

Most of the apps I build start as a website. JMT's real need was answering one question and signing people up, so the site grew an address check, a sign-up flow and an admin their team runs. If you can describe what slows your team down, I can usually scope something that fixes it.

Questions

How much does a custom web app cost?

Apps are quoted per project in the Enterprise package. Smaller pieces like online booking, a sign-up flow or a client portal added to a website often fit the Growing Business package at $6,000 to $10,000.

How long does it take to build?

It depends on scope. Fixed Ops Roundtable, a full streaming, events and membership platform, went from signed to live in 21 days. You get a timeline with the proposal.

Who owns the code?

Once the build fee is paid in full, you own the final delivered app. Reusable code I bring to the project is licensed to you forever, royalty-free, and you can get your data out at any time.

Can it connect to software we already use?

Usually, yes. If your software has an API, the app can send and receive data from it. That is scoped during the proposal.

Can we start small and add features later?

Yes. Many projects start with one piece, like a sign-up flow or an admin, and grow from there.
